Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you that, the new Policy Number 174/2024 by the National Assembly of the Vietnamese government removes the VAT exemption for low-value imported goods under 1 million VND (i.e VND 1,000,000) and this change becomes effective from January 14, 2025. 

This new issuance means the following in detail: 

• Low-value imports (valued under 1 million VND) will not be exempted from VAT charges starting from January 14, 2025.
• From this date, all goods irregardless of their values will be subject to VAT.
• This change aims to ensure fair treatment for domestic goods and provide clear guidelines for tax authorities.

A2EShip kindly highlights the following points for your attention:

1. VAT Charges: Orders valued under 1 million VND (inclusive of shipping fees) made after January 14, 2025 will be subjected to VAT upon importing into Vietnam.
2. Effective Date: Any orders placed or shipped to A2E overseas warehouses after January 12, 2025 will incur additional VAT as per new regulation.
3. Support from A2EShip:

– We will update our service fees and payment policies to ensure transparency.

– Our customer service team is ready to answer any questions about tax rates and declaration procedures.

A2E would like to announce the holiday schedule for Hung Kings’ Day, Liberation Day and International Labor Day as follows:

Hung Kings’ Day:

Holiday: Thursday, April 18th, 2024 (10th of the 3rd lunar month).
Resuming operation: Friday, April 19th, 2024.

Liberation Day and International Labor Day:

Holidays: From Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 to Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.
Resuming operation: Thursday, May 2nd, 2024.
During the holidays, your orders will still be recorded on the system and will be processed on the first working day after the holidays as stated above.

Holiday Closure: Friday, 29th March, 2024
Resumption of Business: Monday, 1st April , 2024

Please note:

A2EShip will suspend order receiving and processing during the holiday.
Orders received at our warehouse before 27th March 2024 will be processed and shipped before A2EShip closes for the holiday. Due to the holiday period, your shipments are expected to be delayed. Rest assured, we will monitor your shipments closely and ensure you are able to receive them soonest!
Orders placed during the holiday will be processed and shipped after A2EShip resumes business on 1st April 2024

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and wish you a happy and blessed Good Friday holiday!

To guarantee delivery before Chinese New Year 2024 (10/2/24) , please place and have your orders delivered to A2E forwarding addresses by 30/1/24. A2EShip will ensure that your orders received before 30/1/24 will reach you before the CNY Holidays.

Any orders received after 30/1/24 will be processed accordingly to the operating periods across the countries as follows: 

• Vietnam warehouses closure period: 7/2/24 to 15/2/24 . We will resume operations starting 16/2/24.
• Singapore, Australia and Japan warehouses closure period: 10/2/24 to 13/2/24. We will resume operations starting 14/2/24 to receive your packages. For delivery for shipments coming from Vietnam, earliest shipping date will be 18/2/24.
