General Provisions 3 mục

Acceptance of Terms

  • A2EShip offers this service to members subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
  • By using this service as an A2EShip member, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • These terms are effective from the time you register your account or create your first order.

Definitions

  • MEMBER: Individual or organization using A2EShip services, responsible for information declaration and payment obligations.
  • SHIPMENT: Item or package being transported to the member.
  • A2ESHIP ADDRESS: Address in source country provided by A2EShip for receiving and shipping purposes.
  • A2EShip: Service provided by A2E Ship Pte. Ltd (Reg. No. 202137368H).

Role of A2EShip

  • A2EShip acts as an independent contractor, not an agent of the seller.
  • A2EShip may complete required documents under applicable laws on behalf of members.
  • A2EShip has the right to open and inspect shipments at any time for security and compliance.
Member Responsibilities 3 mục

General Obligations

  • Comply with A2EShip’s terms and privacy policy.
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and ordering.
  • Submit identification documents for verification if requested by A2EShip.
  • Indicate A2EShip address as shipping address when purchasing from merchants.

Legal Goods

  • Ensure shipment is not prohibited in origin or destination country.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with import/export regulations.
  • Bear all losses for violations regarding prohibited or dangerous goods.
  • Pay merchant directly, including product price and taxes.

Indemnification

  • Member indemnifies A2EShip for all costs arising from service.
  • Including customs fees, taxes, storage fees, administrative costs.
  • Compensate damages from prohibited, dangerous, or leaking goods.
  • Pay disposal costs if goods violate regulations.
Payment & Service Fees 3 mục

Payment Obligations

  • Pay shipping fees, GST (if applicable), and storage fees in full.
  • Pay customs clearance and taxes before delivery.
  • Payment only via A2EShip website or specified methods.
  • A2EShip may detain goods if payment is incomplete.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges cover handling, international shipping, and local delivery.
  • Based on chargeable weight (greater of actual or volumetric weight).
  • A2EShip may adjust fees without prior notice.
  • Weight discrepancies up to 0.5kg are accepted.

Credit Wallet

  • Members can top up Wallet to pay for services.
  • Processing time: 1-10 mins (card/e-wallet), 24h (bank transfer).
  • No cash refund once topped up to Wallet.
  • Exception: refund upon account termination after deducting processing fees.
Shipping & Delivery 3 mục

Delivery Process

  • A2EShip makes reasonable effort to deliver within stipulated timeframe.
  • Not liable for delays beyond reasonable control.
  • No delivery on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays.
  • May deliver to letterbox if suitable, not liable after delivery.

Repacking

  • A2EShip may repack to reduce shipping costs.
  • Repacking fee charged per package.
  • Repacking may void merchant’s return/refund policy.
  • A2EShip not liable for consequences of repacking.

Self-Collection

  • Members can select self-collection point before shipping.
  • Email notification sent when package arrives at collection point.
  • Must collect within stipulated period, otherwise A2EShip may dispose.
  • A2EShip may modify list of self-collection points.
Limitation of Liability 3 mục

Compensation Limits

  • A2EShip not liable for indirect damages or loss of profits.
  • Maximum compensation: invoice value or SGD$500/package, whichever lower.
  • Compensation via Credit Wallet or cash upon request.
  • International convention limits apply (22 SDR/kg for air transport).

Optional Insurance

  • A2EShip offers optional insurance to protect goods.
  • Compensation up to 100% of valid invoice value.
  • Must purchase before shipping, fee based on % of declared value.
  • Details in separate Insurance Policy.

Liability Exclusions

  • Not liable for damages from force majeure, war, natural disasters.
  • Not liable for inherent defects of goods.
  • Not liable for information errors from member/merchant.
  • Not liable for government authority decisions.
Prohibited & Dangerous Goods 2 mục

Prohibited Items

  • Goods classified as dangerous by IATA, ICAO, authorities.
  • Goods without customs declaration when required.
  • Alcoholic products, meat (depending on warehouse license).
  • Goods threatening security, staff, or warehouse property.

Handling Violations

  • A2EShip may immediately destroy violating goods.
  • Member bears all disposal and cleaning costs.
  • Member compensates A2EShip and third parties for damages.
  • No refund or return of violating goods.
Claims & Returns 2 mục

Claim Period

  • Visible damage: within 7 days from delivery.
  • Loss, missing: within 3 months from end of transit.
  • Other claims: within 30 days from payment.
  • Must have written notice with valid invoice and receipts.

Return Policy

  • A2EShip not involved in refunds/returns after delivery.
  • Member contacts merchant directly for return policy.
  • Can return to merchant while still at A2EShip warehouse (fees apply).
  • After leaving A2EShip warehouse, arrange return yourself.
Service Termination 3 mục

Termination by Member

  • Give at least 1 calendar month notice.
  • Still liable for accrued obligations..
  • Can request Wallet refund after deducting fees.
  • Does not release prior legal responsibilities.

Termination by A2EShip

  • A2EShip may terminate service at any time.
  • Terminate if abuse or terms violation.
  • Not liable for damages from termination.
  • Member still liable for outstanding payments.

Dispute Resolution

  • Parties commit to mediation before litigation.
  • Statute of limitations: 9 months from delivery.
  • Vietnamese courts have jurisdiction.
  • Apply Commercial Law 2005 and Consumer Protection Law 2023.
